Yes and no!

Être persuadé (persuadée) que is followed by the French subjunctive only in negative sentences and in questions with inversion.
In affirmative sentences, the verb is conjugated in the indicative.

Example:

Être persuadé (persuadée) que – To be convinced that – To be persuaded that

Affirmative: Ils sont persuadés que l’avion est annulé.
They are convinced that the plane is cancelled.

Negation: Ils ne sont pas persuadés que l’avion soit annulé.
They are not convinced that the plane will be cancelled.

Question with inversion: Sont-ils persuadés que l’avion soit annulé ?
Are they convinced that the plane is cancelled?
