The sentence I gave was “J’ai appellé mon amie ce matin – I called my friend this morning” The mistake was the spelling of appelé, which only takes one L. Today, we are going to focus on mon ma mes for the rules, but the same rules will apply for ton ta tes and son sa ses.
Mon + a masculine noun
Mon + a feminine noun starting with a vowel
Ma + a feminine noun starting with a consonant
Mes + a plural noun
Mon Ma Mes – My
Mon ami – My friend (m)
Mon amie – My friend (f)
Ma sœur – My sister
Mes parents – My parents
Ton Ta Tes – Your
Ton ami – Your friend (m)
